Liquid Injection Molding, or LIM, is a term used by some companies to refer to Liquid Silicone Rubber Injection Molding (LSR LIM).

LSR LIM, or Liquid Injection Molding, is a manufacturing method that molds materials into different products. Silicone is one of the materials most commonly used in Liquid Injection Molding. The benefit of using this manufacturing method is that it can produce effectively and efficiently an array of products such as seals, O-rings, isolators, and electronic contacts.

In addition, LSR LIM is a process that allows for the high volume production of durable parts. Because Liquid Silicone Rubber is a high purity platinum cured silicone with a low compression set, great stability and the ability to resist extreme temperatures of heat and cold, it is highly suitable for the production of parts where high quality is a necessity.
